DRUHÝ PANEVROPSKÝ FESTIVALOVÝ MARATON —
„OD TICHÉHO OCEÁNU PO ATLANTIK“
2015
Předhistorie: První panevropský festivalový maraton – „Od Uralu po Atlantik“ se konal v červnu 2014 a byl načasován na ruský „Rok kultury“. Hlavní motto maratonu – „Za jednotu kulturního prostoru Evropy od Uralských hor po vody Atlantiku!“.
FM-2014 probíhal pod záštitou předsedkyně Organizačního výboru ruského „Roku kultury“, předsedkyně Rady federace Ruské federace V.I. Matvijenkové. Iniciátorem FM-2014 byl ruský parlamentní Evropský klub a Federální agentura „Rossotrudničestvo“. Maraton se konal za podpory vlády Permského kraje a odstartoval na Den Ruska 12. června v Permu, u geografické hranice mezi Evropou a Asií.
Před startem FM-2014 se v Permu konala velká mezinárodní internetová konference věnovaná problémům zachování a propagace ruského jazyka po celém světě. Trasa maratonu vedla z Permu přes Rigu (kulturní hlavní město EU v roce 2014), Prahu, Vídeň (ruské kulturní sezóny), Bratislavu, Maltu, Londýn (rusko-britský rok kultury), Lisabon a skončila v Moskvě. Hlavní symbol prvního maratonu – žezlo byl slavnostně umístěn do Permského krajského muzea. Řada akcí FM-2014 probíhala za podpory UNESCO, Parlamentního shromáždění Středomoří, Státní dumy Ruské federace, Senátu Rakouska, parlamentu Slovenska, Portugalska, magistrátů Rigy, Prahy, Vídně, Lisabonu.
V průběhu FM-2014 se uskutečnily četné koncerty, výstavy, prezentace, jednání, konference a kulaté stoly. Celkový počet účastníků všech akcí přesáhl v období přípravy a konání maratonu 25 tisíc lidí. Všechny akce FM-2014 byly nepřetržitě vysílány na internetu. Maraton také pokrývala přední ruská a zahraniční média. Na základě jeho výsledků byl natočen film a vydány specializované časopisy a katalogy.
Celkový záměr 2. festivalového maratonu:
Na základě výsledků FM-2014 bylo rozhodnuto uspořádat další – druhý panevropský maraton v roce 2015 a v budoucnu tuto akci pořádat jednou za dva roky. Přitom, v souladu s koncepcí neoddělitelnosti civilizačního prostoru Velké Evropy od Vladivostoku po Lisabon, pořádat následující maratony s ohledem na celý prostor od Tichého oceánu po Atlantik. Motto nového maratonu – „Za Velkou Evropu bez dělicích čar“. Úplný oficiální název budoucího maratonu – druhý panevropský festivalový maraton „Od Tichého oceánu po Atlantik“. FM-2015 se bude konat v rámci Roku ruské literatury pod patronací Rady federace, za podpory UNESCO a Federální agentury „Rossotrudničestvo“. Očekává se také podpora ruských regionů a organizací v zúčastněných zemích FM.
Schéma konání FM-2015:
- Start FM ve Vladivostoku 24. května 2015 (neděle) na Den slovanského písemnictví a kultury. Následující den je na ostrově Ruský plánováno mezinárodní „kulatý stůl“ věnovaný otázkám interakce kultur Západu a Východu, místu ruského kulturního prostoru v této interakci. Předpokládá se otevření výstavy dětských kreseb a fotografií o rodném kraji z regionů Dálného východu a Portugalska a koncertní program.
- 26. května Maraton dorazí do Moskvy, kde se hlavní akce – včetně prezentace Maratonu před diplomatickým sborem a mezinárodní veřejností — uskuteční 27. května (středa).
- 28. května Maraton pokračuje v Hamburku (v rámci křížového roku německé a ruské literatury). Hlavní akce proběhnou 29. května (pátek) na radnici Hamburku a v jednom z městských divadel. Otevření výstavy dětských kreseb na témata literárních děl a koncertní program.
- 29.-30. května (sobota-neděle) – akce Maratonu v Miláně v rámci mezinárodní výstavy „EXPO – 2015“.
- 1.-2. června (pondělí – úterý) – Maraton dosahuje geografické hranice Evropy – Atlantského oceánu v portugalském městě Porto. Zde je plánováno otevření výstavy dětských kreseb z ruských regionů a koncertní program.
- 3. června příjezd do Paříže. 4. června (čtvrtek) – účast na protokolárních akcích věnovaných 70. výročí vítězství nad fašismem, mezinárodní konference v UNESCO, otevření výstavy ruských mistrů výtvarného umění a koncertní program v Ruském centru vědy a kultury (RCVK).
- 5.-6. června – kulturní hlavní město EU v roce 2015 — město Plzeň (Česká republika), akce Maratonu se konají v Plzni a na základě RCVK v Praze.
- 8.-9. června (pondělí-úterý), Perm (u geografické hranice Evropy a Asie). Předpokládá se ukončení Maratonu tradiční globální internetovou konferencí načasovanou na Rok ruské literatury.
Financování a mediální pokrytí akce probíhá z prostředků jejích organizátorů a sponzorských příspěvků, jsou přitahováni „informační sponzoři“. Hlavní akce jsou vysílány na speciálních webových stránkách v přímém přenosu. Příslušné ruské zastupitelské úřady a Ministerstvo zahraničních věcí Ruské federace, jakož i ambasády cizích států byly informovány. Potřebná jednání s UNESCO byla provedena.

From the Pacific to the Atlantic
Prehistory: The first Pan-European Festival Marathon — From the Pacific to the Atlantic- was held in June, 2014 and was timed to the Year of Culture in Russia.
The motto of the Marathon was: “For the unity of the cultural space of Europe from the Urals to the Atlantic”.
Festival Marathon-2014 was held under the aegis of the Chairman of the Organizational Committee of the Year of Culture in Russia, Chairman of the Federation Council, Ms. Valentina Matvienko.
The initiative of the Marathon was initiated by the Russian Parliamentary European Club and the Federal Agency “Rossotrudnichestvo”.
The Marathon was supported by the Government of the Perm Krai and started on June 12 (the Day of Russia National Holiday) in the city of Perm, which is located close to the geographical border between Europe and Asia.
Prior to the start of the Marathon, an international conference, devoted to the securing and promotion of the Russian language, had been held in Perm.
The route of the Marathon got through Perm, Riga (Cultural Capital of the EU-2014), Prague, Vienna (Russian cultural seasons), Bratislava, Malta, London (Russian-British Culture year), and Lisbon, with Moscow as a final destination.
The main symbol of the first Marathon – the Staff, was solemnly placed in the Perm Krai museum.
The Marathon events were supported by UNESCO, Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Senate of Austria, parliaments of Slovakia and Portugal, Administrations of Riga, Prague, Vienna and Lisbon.
In the course of the Marathon many concerts, exhibitions, presentations, negotiations, conferences and round tables took place.
Total amount of participants of all events exceeded 25.000 people.
All events of the Marathon — 2014 were covered live by the Internet. This Marathon was also covered by top Russian and European mass media.
Marathon results were summarized in the film as well as in topical magazines and catalogues.
General design for the Second Festival Marathon
After the results of the first Festival Marathon had been summarized, a decision was made to run the second Festival Marathon in 2015, and to repeat similar events once in 2 years. Considering the concept of continuity of the Big Europe civilized space between Vladivostok and Lisbon, future Marathons should be run in the context of the total space between the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans. The motto of the new coming Marathon should be — is “ For the Big Europe without dividing lines”. The complete official name of the future Marathon is “The Second Pan-European Festival Marathon “From the Pacific to the Atlantic”.
The Marathon-2015 will be conducted within the framework of the Year of Russian Literature, under the auspices of the Federation Council and with support of UNESCO, and the Federal Agency “Rossotrudnichestvo”. Some regions of Russia and organizations of participating countries are also expected to offer support.
Plan of the Festival Marathon-2015
Starts in Vladivostok on May, 24, 2015. (Sunday), on the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture.
On May, 25, on the Russkiy island an international round table is planned, which will be devoted to the interaction between cultures of the East and the West, and Russian cultural space in it. Children drawing and photo exhibition is also planned as well as program of concerts.
On May 26 the Marathon arrives to Moscow where its main events – including Marathon presentation to the Diplomatic Corps and international community – are taking place on May 27 ( Wednesday).
On May, 28 – Germany, Hamburg, Marathon as an event of the cross Year of Russian and German Literature. Main events of the Marathon will be held on May, 29 (Friday), in Hamburg City Hall and in one of the local theatres. Opening of the exhibition of the literature-based children drawing, concert program.
On May, 29-30 (Saturday-Sunday), events of the Marathon within the framework of international exhibition EXPO-2015 in Milan.
On June, 1, 2 (Monday-Tuesday) – the Marathon reaches a geographical border of Europe – the Atlantic ocean in the city of Porto, Portugal. With opening of the exhibition of children drawing from Russian regions and concert program.
June, 3 – arrival to Paris.
June, 4 (Thursday) – protocol events, devoted to the 70th Anniversary of Victory over fascism, international conference in UNESCO, opening of the exhibition of Russian fine arts masters and concert program in the Center for Russian Culture and Science.
June, 5-6 – arrival to Plzen (Czech Republic), Cultural Capital of the EU-2015. Marathon events are conducted in the city of Plzen on the basis of the Center for Russian Culture and Science.
June, 8-9 (Monday-Tuesday), Perm city (close to the geographical border between Europe and Asia). Global internet-conference, devoted to the Year of Russian Literature.
Financing and coverage of the event is planned by the means of the organizers and sponsors’ donations. Informational sponsorship is also planned.
Live translation of basic events of the Marathon is planned via special Internet sites.
Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, appropriate organizations outside Russia and foreign embassies are informed.
Necessary negotiations in UNESCO have been conducted.
